What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Kinyon Construction, Inc.?
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
Carpentry work including: Layout and framing
Framing to include: Joisting, Shear placement, Truss install, Fascia installation, etc.
Finish work:
Install cabinets, doors, base and Case.
Install windows
Concrete: Layout of footings, Placement and reinforcement of forms .
Hardy Siding installation
Drywall placement
Experience building and remodel structures according to plans and specifications
Inspect work to ensure conformance to plans, specifications and quality standards
Must have own tools, Valid Drivers License and vehicle.
Must be a Self Starter
Tape and texture is a plus
Plumbing experience is a bonus
Place and finish concrete is plus!
Plastering is a plus
Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques is a plus.
