Summary Of Position
Maintenance Technician II will primarily be responsible for completing maintenance work orders. This would include monitoring the work order system and making interior and exterior, mechanical and non-mechanical, repairs to facilities and equipment. Maintenance Technician II will assist with set-up and clean-up of company events, as well as department supply inventory. For this position, the Technician should understand basic troubleshooting and concepts of commercial buildings.
Performance Requirements
Experience Required : Minimum 3-year in commercial facility maintenance and 2-year skilled trade. Electrical experience highly preferred.

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to lift heavy items and work in all weather conditions, while able to work evenings and/or weekend events.
- Must have ability to work well within a diverse team.
- Must exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written (i.e. customer service, telephone skills, and e-mail communication), which are required for interacting with Dept. team, practice locations, and organization staff.
- Ability to plan and complete delegated task with attention to detail and effective time management, while working well under pressure and with various time constraints
- Ability to learn and retain information regarding facility maintenance technician tasks
- Familiarity with basic computer operations, including but not limited to: MS Word- Excel-Outlook-PowerPoint
- Ability to work successfully with indirect supervision and autonomy
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to travel to and from work. Must be able to operate company vehicles.

K ey Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with maintaining the department’s appearance and reputation with organization staff and communities served, including but not limited to keeping facilities clean and presentable.
- Responsible for daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to assisting with inventory, making repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner, entry-level troubleshooting, mechanical & non-mechanical repairs, moving furniture, painting, wall repair and event set-up and clean-up.
- Responsible for keeping certifications pertaining to Facility Maintenance.
- Responsible for medical and dental equipment repairs.
- Operate and maintain tools safely .
- Demonstrate and apply knowledge of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to work order system, mechanical & non-mechanical repairs, event details, compliance and safety.
- Responsible for maintaining the Maintenance Policy, Procedures and Compliance, while assisting with completion of projects and tasks as directed by Dept. leadership
- Participates in staff/agency meetings as required
