Summary of Position

The Behavioral Health Lead Clinical Supervisor provides the clinical supervision for up to ten provisionally licensed clinical social workers (LCSWA’s). This role serves as a leader in the behavioral health department for clinical supervision and must be up to date and informed of current NASW standards, rules, and codes.  This is a contact point for Senior Management/leadership, Chief Behavioral Health Officer, Director of School Behavioral Health regarding clinical practice and oversight of licensed clinical social workers and associates.  In addition, the selected individual will continue to engage in direct student care working as part of a multidisciplinary school care treatment team to facilitate the provision of holistic, whole-person behavioral healthcare for all Kintegra students.  Regional Leads will also continue to provide behavioral health and substance abuse screening, brief intervention, education, and referral services for patients within a school-based setting.  Provides ongoing consultation and treatment planning support for school administrators, social workers, and teaching personnel to meet the needs of individual clients and school programs. Will work with patients with psychosocial, behavioral health, chronic disease, behavior change, and/or substance use concerns.  Is knowledgeable of and adheres to all policies, professional practice standards, philosophies and requirements for professional clinical practice.


 

Performance Requirements

  1. Excellent and effective written and oral communication skills. 
  2. Interacts in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of patients, operations staff, physicians, other departments, and community partners in a friendly, professional manner.  
  3. Knowledge of psychosocial experiences of students, particularly focused on trauma informed treatment modailities, and various forms of treatment.
  4. Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplanary team, all school based provider to be direct report 
  5. Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated task with attention to detail and efficient time management.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and various time constraints.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint use and email communication.

 

Full Professional Licensure Required: LCSW with minimum of 1 year experience providing clinical supervision at Kintegra. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide oversight of assigned provisionally licensed providers.  
  2. Demonstrate and apply knowledge of behavioral health program guidelines/procedures to identify issues.  
  3. Update/maintain accurate and secure patient medical records. 
  4. Ensure that supervisees are documenting appropriately.
  5. Identify and solve any process, personnel, or clinical challenges.
  6. Regularly update Director of School Behavioral Health with changes and/or challenges.
  7. Coordinate/facilitate referral processes and community partnerships.
  8. Participates in monthly management meetings and other assigned meetings as required.
  9. Will remain active in clinical role providing evidence-based assessment, intervention, consultation, and referral services for students with a variety of behavioral and chronic health conditions.     Working cooperatively as an integral part of the student services, school team with the goal of improving patient care and increasing team efficiency. Productivity and administrative time set and agreed upon by Director of School Behavioral Health.
  10. Engages in continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance professional competence relevant to medical, substance use and legal issues that impact patient care.
  11. Performs others clinical or administrative functions as directed by Director of School Behavioral Health.
