What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Kintaro Ramen?
Kintaro Ramen is a small ramen shop located in Downtown Arlington across from UTA. We are looking to add to our kitchen staff.
We're a great place for first time cooks or experienced chefs who are interested in learning more about ramen. Whether you're a student looking for a job while in school or just coming out of culinary school, we have a place for you. We look forward to meeting you!
We are looking for full time, with both morning and evening shifts, but willing to consider part time.
Responsiblities:
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. cutting vegetables or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff per Kintaro guidelines
Answer, report and follow Kitchen Manager’s instructions
Clean up station nightly as well as weekly cleaning projects
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously with focus on presentation and speed
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirments:
18yrs or older
Food Handler Certificate
Able to read and follow standardized recipes
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Able to lift 50lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
