Kinsley Properties is a privately held, full-service real estate developer and manager with a reputation for
integrity and long-term relationships. We're seeking a Property and Payroll Accountant. This role is
ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, including property accounting,
financial reporting, accounts payable, tenant accounting and payroll processing.
As a Property and Payroll Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting the financial
management of a diverse commercial real estate portfolio while contributing to the day-to-day accounting
operations of the management company.
What You'll Do
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Generate billing invoices from work orders
- Reconcile monthly credit card accounts and bank statements
- Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned entities
- Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payments
- Maintain vendor W-9s and certificates of insurance for 1099 preparation
- Prepare recurring journal entries, accruals, amortization and prepaid expense entries
- Analyze tenant ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounts
- Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting documentation
- Assist with lease administration, collections and CAM reconciliations
- Serve as primary accounting contact for assigned entities
- Support special projects and additional accounting initiatives as needed
What We're Looking for
- Experience: Prior accounting experience required; payroll processing and/or commercial real estate experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills; willingness to learn industry
specific accounting software. - Attributes:
