SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are looking for an entry-to-mid-level Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our expanding clearing team within our Civil Division. Based in York, PA, this role involves driving various CDL construction vehicles throughout the mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating heavy equipment to assist with clearing operations as needed.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Safely transport materials with log trailers, dump trailers, and walking floor trailers.
- Operate roll-off trucks for efficient item transport.
- Load, secure, and tie down materials & equipment as needed.
- Move heavy equipment using lowboy trucks and tag-along trailers.
- Assist with unloading of equipment when required.
- Support the team with general labor duties when needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years or older to apply due to out-of-state travel requirements.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must be able to work out of town.
- Experienced with manual transmission operation.
- Strong understanding of DOT standards and regulations.
- Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Experience with sweeper trucks, dump trailers, lowboys, excavators, track loaders, haul trucks, or other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Dependable, reliable, and a strong team player.
- Willing to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary.
