Job Overview
The Regional Program Director provides strategic, operational, and clinical oversight of multiple PACE centers within a defined region. This leader ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and participant-centered care across all sites. The Regional Director works in close collaboration with center-level leadership, clinical teams, and leadership to align operational performance with the organization’s mission, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals.
Duties
- Provide direct oversight and support to Center Directors and program managers across multiple PACE sites.
- Ensure standardization and excellence in day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with CMS, State, and organizational policies.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, participant satisfaction, and care coordination.
- Serve as a regional liaison between PACE centers and leadership, ensuring effective communication and implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Support and guide clinical operations to ensure delivery of high-quality, participant-focused care.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors, Nursing leadership, and IDT staff to monitor and improve clinical quality and outcomes.
- Promote best practices in interdisciplinary team functioning, care planning, and chronic disease management.
- Ensure that all centers meet or exceed clinical benchmarks including hospitalizations, readmissions, and participant satisfaction.
- Ensure that all centers comply with federal (CMS), state, and organizational regulations and standards.
- Support readiness for regulatory reviews, surveys, and audits.
- Recruit, train, and develop Center Directors and other site leadership staff.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular site visits, leadership meetings, and staff engagement activities to ensure alignment and responsiveness to local needs.
- Support center-level census growth and participant engagement efforts in conjunction with Business Development Team.
- Participate in the contracting process for contracted services.
- Assist in planning and executing expansion strategies, new site development, and service enhancements across the region.
- Represent the PACE program in community forums, provider networks, and regional partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and referral partners.
- Ensure culturally appropriate service delivery that reflects the diversity of the participant population.
- Actively participate in key committees including but not limited to:
- Quality Management Committee (QMC): Collaborate on quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives, data review, and clinical quality strategies.
- Compliance Committee: Work closely with compliance leadership to review regulatory adherence, incident trends, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Participant Advisory Committee (PAC): Ensure that participant feedback is integrated into program improvements and service delivery decisions.
- Work with Quality and Compliance teams to implement performance improvement plans, conduct root cause analyses, and monitor corrective actions.
- Oversee the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each site.
- Support the development and monitoring of performance improvement plans and corrective action strategies across the region.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and change management abilities.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, interdisciplinary team models, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ongoing participation in meetings, training, and seminars.
- May require travel for an extended period of time-up to 75%

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in healthcare or senior services, Must have at least 3 years in a PACE program, long-term care, or managed care setting.
- Multi-site management experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of PACE regulations, CMS compliance, and geriatric care models.
- Reputation for bringing out the best in others and demonstrating commitment to building a high-performance culture
- Must possess current working knowledge of State and federal PACE laws and regulations
- Health plan experience preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience in working with a frail or elderly population required
- Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills. Results-oriented; ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects and prioritize accordingly, while focusing on delivering required outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills written and oral; demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and work effectively with all organizational levels

- Frequent travel to PACE Centers in assigned region.
PREFERRED
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, or related field strongly preferred.
- Multi-site management experience is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
