We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Men's Locker Room Attendant to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all members and guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the locker room facilities, providing excellent customer service, and supporting overall facility operations. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of locker room areas, including showers, lockers, benches, and floors to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct regular janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Maintain floor care through buffing, mopping, and spot cleaning to keep the area safe and visually appealing.
- Support custodial activities related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance as needed to uphold facility standards.
- Assist with general porter duties including moving equipment or supplies within the locker room area.
- Monitor locker room conditions continuously, addressing any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Provide friendly assistance to members or guests seeking directions or support within the locker room environment.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, mopping, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and upkeep.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in industrial cleaning environments.
- Previous porter or custodial roles that involved maintaining cleanliness in busy public spaces are a plus.
