Duties
- Perform routine landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf to promote healthy growth.
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities like planting, fertilizing, pruning, and weed control to keep grounds vibrant and healthy.
- Use hand tools for detailed gardening work such as planting flowers or shrubs, removing debris, or installing landscape features.
- Monitor turf health and diagnose issues related to pests or disease, applying appropriate horticultural treatments.
- Assist with seasonal preparations including soil conditioning, overseeding, and preparing grounds for special events or tournaments.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or turf management is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping best practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening and groundskeeping is essential for safety and efficiency.
