Kinsa is recruiting for a: Product Developer / Coffee Beverage
Location: Houston, TX area (Onsite)
A growing beverage manufacturer is seeking a R&D Product Developer to lead innovation, blend development, beverage formulation, and commercialization efforts across a diverse portfolio of coffee and beverage products. You will be partnering closely with customers and cross-functional teams to bring new concepts from development through large-scale production.

What you will do:
- Lead development and optimization of coffee blends, beverage formulations, and innovative product platforms across multiple categories.
- Develop and refine roast profiles, flavor systems, and beverage formulations to meet customer specifications and market objectives.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, cupping sessions, and product assessments to ensure quality, consistency, and flavor alignment.
- Drive product commercialization activities including scale-up, production trials, and manufacturing validation.
- Partner directly with customers to support product development, innovation initiatives, presentations, and commercialization efforts.
What you bring:
- 7 years of experience in coffee product development, roasting, beverage innovation.
- Strong expertise in coffee sourcing, roast development, extraction, sensory evaluation, and blend formulation.
- Experience with cold brew, concentrates, liquid beverage systems, RTD beverages, or related beverage platforms strongly preferred.
- Proven experience matching flavor profiles and developing products for customer-specific applications.
- Strong understanding of commercial manufacturing, scale-up, and product commercialization processes.
- Experience supporting private label, foodservice, QSR, retail, or national account customers preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Beverage Science, or related field preferred.
