We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, equipment parts lookup, and inventory control. This role involves managing parts procurement, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and providing exceptional customer service to support our automotive service and repair departments.
Duties
- Manage the supply chain and supplier relationships to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Utilize ERP systems and order management systems to track parts orders and shipments.
- Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries related to parts availability and specifications.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in correct parts lookup.
- Write up service tickets for inbound tools/equipment to be worked on.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, and parts department.
- Familiarity with warehouse management practices, including shipping & receiving operations.
- Proficient in using ERP systems for inventory management and order processing.
- Solid data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for assisting in equipment parts lookup.
