Kinney Manufacturing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Beatrice location.
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair issues with machinery, motors, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial or commercial equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and mechanical equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of parts/supplies
- Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and small construction projects
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Perform general building maintenance tasks (painting, carpentry, door/hardware repairs, etc.) as needed
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when specialized work is required
