Part-Time Store Stock Associate

Job Summary: Responsible for accurately scanning and ringing out customer purchases while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately process cash, check, and charge transactions using the point of sale (POS) register.
• Provide accurate change to customers in a timely manner.
• Follow proper procedures for closing out the register at the end of each shift.
• Request assistance as needed to maintain optimal customer service levels.
• Offer help to customers with large purchases, including carrying items out to their vehicles if necessary.
• Restock inventory from in-store supplies and incoming orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area by performing general housekeeping duties.
• Assist in maintaining overall store cleanliness, including restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, and entryways.
• Restock register supplies as needed.
• Answer phone calls promptly and maintain high customer service standards.
• Contribute to inventory management, price marking, and merchandising efforts in the checkout area and surrounding departments.
• Respond to potential shoplifters according to company policy.
• Support the implementation of Kinney Drugs' Standard of Presentation (Merchandising).
• Help order replacement products from suppliers.
• Identify and return outdated or overstocked merchandise to the correct source.
• Pack and prepare items for home or business delivery.
• Complete all required training programs.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must be available and on-time for scheduled shifts.
• Preferred: 0-1 year of experience in a related position.
• Pass a drug test and comply with continuous monitoring requirements.
• Meet any additional eligibility criteria specific to this position.

Compensation: $15.00 - $15.52 per hour. The final offer will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and education.
