## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist with dental experience to join our team in a state of the art private dental practice. Minimum 1 year experience required. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental administrative support and exceptional patient service skills.
## Duties
- Calculating and collecting Copays and answer related questions
- Explain treatment plans as needed
- Submit Prior authorizations to insurance, Attaching x-rays/ tooth images to the insurance in the process in the eaglesoft patient software
- Calculating all types of payments and creating end of day report that matches the payments
- Managing financial aspects of patient accounts with very high accuracy
- Reviewing patient communication software and respond to patient's text messages
- Reviewing office email and checking voicemail notifications, listening to voicemails and calling patients / dental labs back as needed and addressing concerns.
- Answering new patient phone calls, collecting their necessary information to create a patient chart in computer software and obtaining their insurance information over the call followed by calling insurance company and verifying their eligibility , plan benefit information and enter (input) that information into patient chart accurately.
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Maintain electronic medical records using HIPAA-compliant systems
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Handle insurance verification and basic billing tasks
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
- Collaborate with staff to provide excellent patient care
## Qualifications
- Previous dental experience is required
- Previous experience with eaglesoft software is a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
