Reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities, the Manager, Global Security will have overall responsibility for the ongoing safety and security of Kiniksa’s global operations. The Manager, Global Security, will have oversight and accountability for the execution of procedures and processes to provide physical protection for all personnel and company property, day-to-day damage, vandalism, loss prevention and other related security risk programs across all sites.
This individual will assist in the strategic direction of short and long-term security strategies for all sites, as well as off-site events and supply chain risks which will need to grow and adapt with the company. The Manager, Global Security will be trusted by executive personnel and will travel with senior executives as required.
This role is based in our Lexington office. This role will follow an on-site schedule of 5 days in the office.

Responsibilities (including, But Not Limited To)
- Develop and implement organizational security plans and operations
- Oversee the administrative supervision of security and loss prevention; provides protection for personnel, company property, building access and visitor control
- Responsible for security awareness programs, extra protection for key employees, travel security assistance, and security risk assessment and planning in the area of crisis management
- Develops and implements procedures to meet required codes and regulations. Prepares and maintains all required security manuals
- Coordination of access control for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Executive protection procedures, including travel intelligence and personal protection
- Provide guidance and security response training for administrative staff covering main reception desk
- Strategy and project management for vulnerability assessments, investigations, travel security, and crisis management
- Coordinates activities with local police and emergency agencies as appropriate
- Identify, analyze and monitor security trends affecting the Biotech industry
- Collaborate with facilities management to conduct security audits of physical premises and coordinate maintenance of access control and surveillance equipment
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure security requirements are met during facility upgrades, repairs, or construction projects.
- Support facilities management including, but not limited to, building projects, badge issuance and visitor control
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of corporate security experience
- Experience in pharma/biotech industry preferred
- Experience with managing security for executive leadership, including coordination with protection details
- Demonstrated experience in the core areas of physical security, crisis management, investigations and project management required
- Expertise in security systems, supply-chain security, intellectual property, vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation preferred
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present information, and build and maintain relationships with all levels in the organization
- Salary is commensurate with experience

Salary : $130,000 - $142,000
