The Dining Room Server/Supervisor ensures an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests by leading the dining team, maintaining service standards, and supporting a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. This role balances hands-on service duties with leadership and coordination responsibilities to ensure meals are served efficiently, courteously, and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, schedule, and oversee dining room staff during meal services.
- Train new servers on service standards, resident engagement, and safety procedures.
- Foster a positive team environment, encouraging accountability, professionalism, and respect.
- Assist with performance feedback, coaching, and reporting any staff concerns to management.
- Greet residents and guests warmly; ensure friendly and attentive service throughout the meal.
- Take food and beverage orders, deliver meals, and accommodate special requests professionally.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu items, including dietary restrictions and special diets.
- Uphold high cleanliness and organization standards for tables, dining room, and service areas
- Assist with creating daily server assignments and seating charts.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation and food safety regulations (including local health codes).
- Communicate resident preferences, feedback, or concerns to kitchen and management teams.
- Support special events, private parties, and holiday functions as needed.

Requirements:Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years experience in food service, hospitality, or senior living preferred.
- Supervisory experience a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patience, flexibility, and compassion for seniors.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and/or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain
