General Responsibilities
- Dials in espresso machine each shift and makes appropriate adjustments throughout the day to maintain quality standards and great tasting espresso
- Sets up/shuts down the coffee station at the beginning/end of the day
- Practices proper cleaning and preventative maintenance for espresso and brewing equipment
- Maintains inventories and stock of paper goods and beverage products
- Register and customer service
- Provides service in a friendly, kind and efficient way to all guests
- Keeps a clean and organized station and storefront at all times
- Collaborates with and supports all team members
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Passionate about coffee
- At least 1 year Barista experience in specialty coffee shops – latte art, dialing in, tasting espresso, grinding, tamping and control of extraction time
- Maintain quality standards in a fast paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and positive
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
