The Municipality of Kingston is seeking applicants for the positions of Part-Time and Full-Time DPW Laborers. DPW Laborer responsibilities include but are not limited to sanitation and recycling collection, public facilities and parks maintenance, public infrastructure maintenance and repair, street maintenance and paving, snow plowing, and all other assignments as issued by the Supervisor. Applicants must have the ability to routinely lift moderate to heavy weight, sit, stand, and bend for extended periods of time, and work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time. All applicants must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of Laborer and possess a valid Pennsylvania Operators License.

Full-Time applicants must also agree to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License per the collective bargaining agreement as a conditional offer of employment. The starting rate for Part-Time Laborer is $17.00 per hour. Full-Time starting rate is between $21.50 and $28.66 per hour plus benefits. Full-time appointments are subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
