What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Kingsport Adult Day Care?
Summary of Responsibility: Provides routine participant plan of care needs and services that support the care delivered to participants requiring adult day care, in accordance with the established plan of care procedures and as directed by the Director.
Duties:
1. Assists the participant in their daily routines and their personal care needs as described in the participant’s plan of care.
2. Reports observations and other pertinent information related to the care of the participant.
3. Provides services that support the care delivered to the participant, and review care plans daily to determine if changes in the daily care routine have been made.
4. Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
5. Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with company policies.
6. Assists with dietary responsibilities, including set up, clean up, sweep, mop, as needed.
7. Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent participant care information.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.
Education and Experience:
1. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. 2. Previous caregiving experience preferred.
3. Experience working with the elderly. 4. Must be able to read, speak, and write the English language.
5. Must be certified in C.P.R.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
