To help us continue to grow our business, we’re searching for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician Team Lead who will be responsible for managing the Rotational Molding Machine by running, maintaining, training and fitting products from the machine. This role will evolve into a supervisory/management role. Candidates with leadership ambition encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service machinery on a routine basis and work with third party maintenance company for biannual maintenance.
- Repair equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment.
- Adhere to compliance and operational standards.
- Collect and report data related to KPIs, costs and more.
- Calibrate equipment as needed to meet production goals.
- Set specifications and fitting procedures for product change-overs.
- Problem solve for production issues that may arise.
- Ensure finished products meet specification and quality standards.
- Work with quality department to root cause issues to work through and implement corrective actions.
- Support operational teams to identify cost savings.
- Train new employees on running machine.
- Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the business.
- Maintain and promote a compliance culture throughout the organization to ensure the highest levels of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Promote the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality and product compliance, ensuring that compliance is an integral part of the business and our requirements and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Mechanical Engineering education and/or related work experience
- 5 years' experience working in manufacturing operations (ideally with plastic molding machinery)
- A practical knowledge of assembly techniques consistent with the company product range.
- Previous forklift training.
- Experience in using hand tools.
- The ability to understand and act on verbal or written instructions.
- The ability to read schematic drawings.
- The ability to accurately measure and document production activities.
- A mature attitude to work which encompasses health & safety, quality, and care as well as output.
- Highly motivated and proactive.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Practical problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands and under pressure in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Ability to travel for 3-4 weeks training to Ireland factory to learn process / machinery and product range.
