Job Summary:
The Special Education Aide supports students with disabilities by assisting the classroom teacher in delivering instruction, managing behavior, and meeting individual educational needs. This position helps create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of a certified special education teacher to support instruction and IEP goals.

Provide direct support to individual students or small groups, including academic, behavioral, and functional assistance.

Assist students with daily living activities, personal care, or mobility as needed.

Implement behavior intervention plans and support positive behavior strategies.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.

Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and during arrival/dismissal.

Qualifications:
