Kingsgate Logistics is looking for experienced cradle-to-grave freight brokers who want the stability of a W-2 position today with the opportunity to build toward something bigger.
This is a 100% remote position designed for experienced brokers who know how to develop customer relationships, manage freight from quote through delivery, and grow a profitable book of business.
You'll receive a $55,000 base salary, 15% commission on gross profit, and a full employee benefits package while building and developing your business with Kingsgate.
For brokers who build a strong, diversified book of business, Kingsgate offers a defined pathway to transition into our independent agent program with a 50% commission structure.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, develop, and grow your own portfolio of shipper customers
- Manage the complete cradle-to-grave brokerage process
- Quote and price freight opportunities
- Source, negotiate with, and manage carrier relationships
- Coordinate load execution from tender through delivery
- Maintain proactive communication with customers and carriers
- Resolve service issues and protect customer relationships
- Manage margins while growing sustainable gross profit
- Build a diversified, recurring book of business
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3 years of cradle-to-grave freight brokerage experience
- Previous experience successfully working in a remote environment
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing shipper relationships
- Strong understanding of carrier sourcing, pricing, negotiation, and load execution
- Ability to independently manage the entire freight lifecycle
- Proven ability to work with limited day-to-day supervision in a remote environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A track record of accountability for both sales and operational performance
Compensation & Benefits
