Overview
Located at one of the top destination areas in the United States in scenic Lake Tahoe in Nevada, Kingsbury General Improvement District (KGID) is in the heart of the outdoors and adventure area of northern Nevada. Join our dynamic team as a Temporary General Laborer and become a vital part of our District!
This position primarily involves outdoor work during the winter season. All required personal protective equipment and specialized equipment will be provided by the district.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
- Duration: Approximately six (6) months
- Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with alternating Fridays off.
- Physical Requirement: Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance.
- Benefits: This temporary position does not include benefits, including vacation or sick leave accrual or paid holidays. Overtime is available in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
