Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable On-Call Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during events, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests at banquets, receptions, and special events with professionalism and attentiveness
- Set up banquet tables, including linens, silverware, glassware, and serving stations
- Assist with food presentation, refilling stations, and maintaining cleanliness during events
- Buss tables promptly after service to ensure a tidy dining environment
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any needs or concerns
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures throughout all stages of service
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operation of functions from start to finish
- Assist in food preparation or setup as needed, including buffet arrangements or catering support
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, catering, or hospitality preferred; banquet experience is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper serving techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis, including evenings and weekends for events
- Experience in restaurant service, hotel settings, or coffee service is advantageous
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes as required
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences
Pay: $21.98 - $26.47 per hour
