$29.38 – $33.07 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Nurse (LVN/LPT) provides direct nursing care and supports the physical and behavioral health needs of clients in the Care Court program. This role works closely with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment and positive outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct nursing care, health education, and support
- Administer medications and monitor adherence
- Assist physicians during medication appointments
- Assess physical and behavioral health needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Coordinate care with providers, pharmacy, and community partners
- Support patients and families with treatment education
- Monitor vital signs and overall health status
- Participate in crisis intervention when needed
- Meet productivity and documentation standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Active California LVN or LPT license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 1 year experience in behavioral health or psychiatric setting
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- DOJ fingerprint clearance
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience with mental health populations
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Clinic and field-based role with some community/home visits. May include occasional evening hours and interaction with individuals experiencing serious mental illness.
