PSKV Job Announcement: Part Time Middle School/High School Math Teacher
Job Description:
Teach basic math classes to middle and high school students at the Kings Valley Charter School.
Minimum Qualifications:
Teacher applicants should be licensed to teach high school math in Oregon or be in the process of becoming licensed. A person with a teaching license with the subject level endorsements is the traditional method to qualify. A person with a college degree in math or a related subject or a person with a bachelor’s degree and passing scores on the subject level tests for Oregon can also qualify.
Desirable Specialties and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in teaching
- Experience teaching high school math
- Ability to teach advanced math
- Experience in schools subject to parental choice
- Experience with project based learning
- Experience in multi-grade classrooms
Salary:
Starting salary depends on experience/education
Position is .5 FTE with possibility for full-time position in 2020-21 school year
