We’re looking for a Videographer / Content Director to join our growing team in Phoenix.
This is not your average videography role it’s an opportunity to work directly with elite founders and industry experts, learning from some of the brightest minds in business, leadership, and personal growth.
You’ll start by shadowing our founder, Jeremy Davenport, capturing high-level client sessions (our proprietary SMART Sessions) and helping bring founders’ stories to life through cinematic short-form video. Over time, you’ll grow into a leadership role running sessions independently, leading creative strategy, and ensuring the success of your roster of founders.
This role blends creativity, storytelling, strategy, and production ideal for someone who wants to master not just video, but the psychology behind what makes content go viral.
Founder & Creative Director (Jeremy Davenport)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with founders during SMART Sessions to plan, shoot, and capture powerful talking head content.
- Execute shoots that reflect each founder’s voice, personality, and brand positioning.
- Manage lighting, camera setup, and audio for both studio and on-location shoots.
- Direct founders on camera to ensure clarity, confidence, and emotional resonance.
- Capture both primary footage and potential b-roll for storytelling flexibility.
SMART Expectations:
- Specific: Create short-form talking head videos that align with the Kings Media brand and client strategy.
- Measurable: Maintain a 90% client satisfaction rating on captured content. Efficiently create at least 30 days worth of content in a 3 hour session (we teach frameworks for doing so)
- Attainable: Use Kings Media’s frameworks and team resources to ensure excellence.
- Realistic: Complete and deliver initial footage within 48 hours of each shoot. Provide incredibly enjoyable sessions for our founders, making them comfortable in content, relaxed, and confident in the content they are creating.
- Timely: Stay ahead of client shoot schedules and travel deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in client research — understanding each founder’s audience, message, and industry.
- Brainstorm creative session ideas, hooks, and viral angles using Kings Media frameworks.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of each client’s content calendar.
SMART Expectations:
- Specific: Develop session outlines that reflect the client’s goals and audience psychology.
- Measurable: Contribute at least 30–50 new session ideas per client per month.
- Attainable: Collaborate with the content and editing teams to refine ideas.
- Realistic: Base ideas on proven data, trends, and audience feedback.
- Timely: Prepare all session notes at least 24 hours before scheduled shoots.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, clean, and organize all camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Ensure all gear is charged, calibrated, and ready for use before travel or client sessions.
- Stay updated on the latest video tech and recommend upgrades as needed.

- Specific: Conduct regular maintenance checks and log updates.
- Measurable: Perform bi-weekly gear audits and resolve any technical issues within 24 hours.
- Attainable: Coordinate with leadership for budgeted upgrades and purchases.
- Realistic: Maintain a consistent standard of production quality across all shoots.
- Timely: Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Kings Media with excellence during all client interactions.
- Be punctual, well-prepared, and proactive in communication before and after shoots.
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset — especially during high-pressure shoots or travel.

- Measurable: Maintain positive client and team feedback in 95% of interactions.
- Attainable: Participate in leadership and communication training sessions as offered.
- Realistic: Balance professionalism with creative expression on set.
- Timely: Communicate any client or project concerns within 24 hours to leadership.
- Weekly check-ins with the Creative Director.
- Bi-weekly team syncs for updates and coordination.
- Monthly full-team meetings for vision, training, and development.
- 2–5 years of experience in videography, filmmaking, or digital media.
- Proficiency with Canon or Sony cameras (or willingness to adapt to our system. Canon is preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of lighting, framing, and directing talent.
- Experience with short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Ability to travel (expenses covered).
- Based in Phoenix, AZ.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
