Director of Human ResourcesKings Harbor Multicare Center – Bronx, NY2000 East Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY 10469Job Summary:Kings Harbor Multicare Center, a premier long-term care and rehabilitation facility located in the Bronx, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all HR operations. The Director will plan, organize, and direct the Human Resources Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in personnel management. This role oversees employment, staffing, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, labor relations, and staff development. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Responsibilities include:Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compliance.Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, 401(k), life insurance, etc.).Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.Manage employee relations, labor relations, grievances, and arbitration processes.Supervise HR personnel, ensuring ongoing training and professional growth.Maintain personnel records and OSHA reporting compliance.Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives.Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR and workforce-related matters.Qualifications:Master’s Degree and/or Human Resources Certification (PHR/SPHR preferred).Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR management or administration.Proven experience in a healthcare or unionized environment strongly preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (COBRA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).Schedule:Full-time | Monday–Friday Equal Employment Opportunity
