We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team at Kings Dominion.

Job Type: Full-time, year-round position

About the Role: The Auto Mechanic performs inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all park vehicles and buses. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanics to develop their skills and advance in their career.

Responsibilities

1. Maintains and repairs park vehicles, rides, and all other gas and diesel units.
2. Performs related duties as required.
3. Diagnoses and determines repair requirements for mechanical, electrical, and other problems with park-owned vehicles and selected rides.
4. Performs required VA state vehicle inspections on park-owned vehicles.
5. Welds, modifies, and fabricates parts as necessary.
6. Maintains and repairs vehicles, rides, and other equipment as assigned.
7. Maintains vehicle records, such as registration and inspections.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid VA State vehicle inspection certification.
• 2-4 years of related experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
