What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Clerk - Retail Pharmacy position at KINGS DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER?
Delivers high-quality patient care by performing distributive pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Assists with prescription distribution and delivery, answers phone calls, and directs inquiries appropriately. Performs other duties as assigned under the general supervision of the Retail Pharmacist. All activities must comply with state and federal laws, as well as hospital policies.
Shift/schedule: 9:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
- Retail experience preferred.
Special Qualifications:
- Good visual acuity.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various schedules.
- Ability to lift heavy medication totes and make deliveries throughout the hospital.
