Overview
We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling custom interior components in accordance with detailed blueprints and technical drawings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to sophisticated interior projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, fit, and fabricate steel components to specification.
- Grinding, Polishing, Graining Material
- Perform MIG & TIG Welding
- Able to weld steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum & Brass
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, grinders, drill presses, and other shop machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling as needed.
- Install is a plus
- Field welding / Finish work in the field.
Qualifications
- 4 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Proficient in MIG & TIG
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Experience using common fabrication tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.
- Experience fabricating ornamental metal
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication tolerances.
- Ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and work with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
