Position Purpose
Responsible for advancing the organization’s clinical informatics strategy and ensuring technology enables high-quality, safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership for electronic health records (EHR), clinical decision support, analytics, and digital health initiatives, while serving as a key liaison between clinicians, IT, quality, and operations. All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country.
Key Responsibilities
Education: ClinicalDegree (MD, DO, or equivalent, i.e., MBBS).
Experience: Seven (7) years of previous multi-facility healthcare/hospital clinical information systems management experience.
Certification: NA
License: Active or eligible clinical license with board certification.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Education: Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or similar).
Experience: Experience with value-based care, population health, or digital transformation.
Certification: Board Certification in Clinical Informatics
License: NA

- Oversee EHR design, workflows, clinical content, and governance structures.
- Leverage informatics to improve quality, safety, and clinical outcomes.
- Advance clinical analytics, dashboards, and decision support tools.
- Champion clinician experience, usability, and burnout reduction.
- Evaluate and guide adoption of emerging digital health technologies.
- Foster collaboration across clinical, IT, quality, and operational stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of department and organization.
