Join our incredible and compassionate Thoracic Surgery team as a Patient Access Representative. This integral administrative role plays a crucial part in maintaining the utmost organization and efficiency within our medical office.

Position Purpose: As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential clerical support and ensuring a seamless patient registration process. This entails verifying benefits, facilitating patient discharges, collecting copays or payments, maintaining accurate account balances, and performing general data entry tasks.
Hours/Shift: Full-Time/M-F 8:00a-4:30p

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 1 yr of experience working in a customer services position and/or office setting
Certification: BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Work Requirements: Able to reach above and below shoulder level, lift, bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and sit for the full scheduled shift; able to use business office equipment/computer. Expected duties have, but not routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
