Clerk - Title I

Summary/Objective

Work with the Instructional Coach to provide online academic interventions for students.

Essential Functions

1. Respond to all internal and external customers, as it relates to the position, in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner.
2. Compile and enter student data regarding grades, discipline, testing, behavior, and attendance.  
3. Provide instructional and clerical support under the supervision of a classroom teacher, program coordinator/administrator, or instructional coach.
4. Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce material or skills initially introduced by a teacher.
5. Provide coordination assistance for school and district assessments.
6. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all policies, regulations, and rules.
7. Perform related duties as assigned in a safe and prudent manner.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

At-Will Notice of Employment does not provide a guarantee of a particular schedule of work or a minimum number of days or hours.

This is a 9-month, full-time position paid hourly. This position is eligible for medical benefits. Employee will work Monday – Thursday during core business hours.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience working in a school setting.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
