What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Equipment Sales - Bay County position at Kingline Equipment Inc.?
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Is familiar with machinery operations and instructs customers as necessary.
- Independently manages the sales process for each sales opportunity.
- Conducts field demos and events.
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Manages customer education and delivery of equipment sold.
- Maintains the company-provided truck and trailer
- Monitors competitive activity and products, reporting to management, accordingly.
- Maintains all customer information for sales management.
- Knows and follows a defined sales process.
- Respond to online leads and follow up
- Monitors trends in consumer activity reporting to management accordingly.
- Maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes
- Attends ongoing training as required by Kingline Equipment.
Job Requirements:
- At least three years of experience and knowledge of agricultural and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of social media and responding to online leads.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications.
- Ability to learn industry-specific computer programs and applications.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pull trailers safely
- Must be able to sit and work on a computer.
- Must be able to bend, twist, lift, etc. in order to demonstrate various parts of the equipment as needed.
- Must be able to stand for periods of time at expos, demonstrations, etc.
- Must be flexible regarding schedules and willing to work additional hours when the season demands it.
