What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality and Lab Technician (Midnights) position at KINGFA SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY INC.?
This position is responsible for laboratory functions. Quality/Lab Inspector completes the day to day laboratory duties accurately and in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Processes samples on lab equipment and completes all documentation required accurately and on time
- Completes lab tests, documents accurately and completed on time. (Injection Molding, Tensile Properties, Impact Properties, DSC, Moisture, Pellet Count, Melt Index, Density, Ash testing,
- Assures the lab areas is clean and organized
- Assures the lab area equipment is operated in a safe manor.
- Assists Quality Manager in IATF initiatives
- Maintains safe work area in the lab.
- Other duties as assigned by management
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of polymer/plastic materials/ plastic extrusion, preferred
- At least one years of experience as a Quality & Lab Technician and injection molding operator, required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a plastic injection molding/ polymer industry.
- ISO or IATF 16949:2016, knowledge is a plus
