The Custodian will maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and orderly conditions throughout an office building. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this role focuses on cleaning-only duties across evening and rotating shifts, helping ensure a safe and well-maintained workplace.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain office building facilities.
- Perform floor care and use floor care equipment as appropriate.
- Sanitize restrooms and replenish restroom supplies.
- Restock cleaning and facility supplies.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and other designated areas.
- Handle waste and dispose of materials according to established procedures.
- Follow chemical-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in custodial services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial cleaning and floor care equipment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, sanitation procedures, and waste management.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Reliable and able to work evening and rotating shifts.
