About the Role

Kingdom Pipe & Steel is hiring a skilled and safety-focused Welder to join our manufacturing team in Brenham, Texas. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience who takes pride in producing quality work, following safety procedures, and supporting daily production needs.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a third-party 1G welding certification test as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Manufacturing products according to specifications, drawings, work orders, and quality standards
• Performing welding operations using various welding equipment and processes
• Using welding methods including MIG, TIG, and CO2 welding processes
• Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and production specifications as needed
• Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with required standards
• Maintaining welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Following all safety procedures, HSE requirements, and PPE guidelines
• Identifying, reporting, and helping correct unsafe conditions
• Supporting operational needs, including moving between work areas, shifts, and weekend work when required
• Successfully passing and maintaining a third-party administered 1G welding certification

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

• 1 to 4 years of welding experience preferred
• Ability to pass a third-party 1G welding certification test
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or CO2 welding processes preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper equipment operation
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Open availability and willingness to support production schedules as needed

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This position requires physical work in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
• Perform hands-on welding and manufacturing tasks
• Walk throughout the facility as needed
• Work in both indoor industrial settings and occasional outdoor conditions
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety policies
