Preschool Director

KINGDOM KIDS AT CROSSROAD is a ministry of CrossRoad Church that is dedicated to providing quality preschool education with a Christ-centered approach. Our mission is to nurture the holistic development of children by fostering their spiritual, academic, behavioral, and social growth in a loving and age-appropriate environment. We incorporate biblical teachings and focus on foundational skills in reading, writing, and math to prepare children for a smooth transition into elementary school. Our hands-on curriculum emphasizes fun and engaging learning experiences, along with teaching children positive behavior, accountability, and social interaction skills.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Preschool Director located in Jacksonville, FL. The Preschool Director will oversee daily operations, develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, manage staff, and ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Responsibilities include managing budgets, setting educational goals, training and supporting the teaching team, and fostering a nurturing environment for students and staff. The director will also ensure that resources and programs align with the mission to provide a comprehensive educational experience rooted in Christian values.

• Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Early Childhood Education
• Experience in Education, Kindergarten, and preschool teaching practices
• Skills in Budgeting and administrative management
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching strategies and compliance with educational and licensing standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Prior experience in a leadership role within a preschool or early childhood education setting
• Commitment to upholding and exemplifying Christian values in educational and operational practices
