Overview
Kingdom Inclusion exists to connect teens and adults with disabilities—and their families—to God and community. We do this by creating safe, fun, Christ-centered spaces where participants can learn about the gospel in a way they understand, while families find rest and belonging.
The Director of Inclusion Program ensures Kingdom Inclusion thrives at their assigned site(s) by leading weekly programming, supporting volunteers, and walking alongside families impacted by disability. Initially, this role will focus on leading one site, but as Kingdom Inclusion expands, the Director may oversee multiple sites or help launch new ones, providing vision and consistency across locations.
Reports to: Founder and CEO
Schedule: 25–30 hours/week (including Sunday mornings and some evenings)
Compensation: $21–$25/hour, based on experience
Core Responsibilities
1. Volunteer Leadership
- Recruit, train, and encourage a diverse team of volunteers
- Build a positive, mission-driven team culture
- Help volunteers grow in skill and confidence
- Organize volunteer schedules and assignments
2. Teaching & Program Delivery
- Lead weekly Bible studies and monthly gatherings
- Adapt lessons and activities for accessibility and engagement
- Facilitate group prayer, worship, and discussion in ways that include everyone
- Use creative teaching tools (e.g., games, trivia, visuals)
3. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and host site-specific events such as Hangouts, Bible Studies, and community outings
- Manage logistics (scheduling, supplies, setup/tear-down)
- Partner with central staff for larger events (e.g., The Great Banquet)
4. Family & Community Engagement
- Build meaningful relationships with participants and their families
- Serve as a welcoming first contact for new families
- Provide ongoing support and encourage consistent participation
5. Administration & Collaboration
- Use Google Workspace tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets) for tracking and scheduling
- Maintain clear communication with the CEO, site staff, and central team
- Support data tracking (attendance, volunteer hours, etc.)
- Share event details and updates with communications staff
Qualifications
- Strong personal faith and alignment with Kingdom Inclusion’s mission and values
- Experience leading volunteers or small teams
- Confident communicator and relationship-builder
- Comfortable working with individuals with disabilities (professional or volunteer experience preferred)
- Organized, adaptable, and dependable
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Tech-savvy and eager to use tools like Google Workspace and AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline communication, planning, and teaching
- Background check required
Future Growth
While the Director will begin with primary responsibility for one site, the role is designed with growth in mind. Over time, the Director may oversee additional sites or assist in launching new ones, ensuring Kingdom Inclusion’s programs remain consistent, accessible, and mission-driven across communities.
