Position Summary

Part-time, typically after school hours (3:00-6:00 PM)

A nonpublic school must seek and obtain a criminal history background information check on all "applicants seeking positions with, and on all current employees and current employees under review employed by any nonpublic school, who have unsupervised access to or who provide education, training, instruction, or supervision for children in an educational setting." Key Responsibilities
- Assist with supervising students during extended care hours.
- Help facilitate games, crafts, homework time, and recreational activities.
- Support the Coordinator with set-up and clean-up of spaces, materials, and snacks.
- Model respectful and responsible behavior for younger students.
- Ensure safety by following school policies and reporting concerns to the Coordinator.
- Provide general assistance to staff as needed (e.g., escorting students, organizing supplies).
- Committed to Christ-centered values and serving as a positive role model for students.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or childcare experience preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school, church, or childcare setting.
- Dependable, patient, and able to supervise groups of children safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must pass a background check and meet DHR licensing requirements.
- Available to work scheduled after-school hours on school days.
