Position Purpose
The Executive Pastor serves as a senior leadership partner who helps carry out the vision, mission, and ministry direction of Kingdom Faith Global Ministries. This role exists to support the Senior Pastor by strengthening church operations, developing systems, leading staff and ministry teams, coordinating administrative functions, and ensuring that ministry activity is aligned with the spiritual direction and strategic priorities of the church.
The Executive Pastor should demonstrate spiritual maturity, loyalty to the vision, sound judgment, organizational strength, pastoral sensitivity, and the ability to bring order, excellence, and accountability to the work of ministry.
Kingdom Faith Global Ministries seeks to build a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and mission-focused church that reaches people, develops disciples, strengthens families, serves the community, and advances the Kingdom of God. The Executive Pastor helps translate vision into action by creating structure, supporting leaders, improving communication, and ensuring that each ministry area functions with integrity, unity, and excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Vision Implementation: Work closely with the Senior Pastor to understand, communicate, and execute the church vision through measurable ministry goals, strategic plans, ministry calendars, and accountable leadership systems.
2. Operational Leadership: Assist in the oversight of day-to-day church operations, administrative processes, ministry coordination, internal communication, and systems that support the healthy functioning of the church.
3. Staff and Ministry Team Oversight: Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and accountability to staff, volunteers, department leaders, and ministry teams as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
4. Administration and Systems Development: Create, maintain, and improve procedures, policies, workflows, reporting tools, meeting rhythms, and organizational structures that help the church operate with clarity and excellence.
5. Financial Stewardship Support: Assist with budget development, spending oversight, financial planning, resource management, and stewardship practices in partnership with the Senior Pastor, finance team, trustees, or other authorized leaders.
6. Pastoral Support and Care Coordination: Help support pastoral care systems, member follow-up, leadership care, volunteer care, conflict navigation, and ministry referrals while honoring appropriate confidentiality and reporting expectations.
7. Leadership Development: Identify, train, and develop leaders who can serve faithfully, lead teams effectively, communicate well, and support the broader mission of Kingdom Faith Global Ministries.
8. Church-Wide Communication: Ensure leaders, staff, volunteers, and members receive timely information regarding services, meetings, events, ministry plans, responsibilities, and major church initiatives.
9. Compliance and Risk Awareness: Support proper record-keeping, safety practices, child protection standards, facility protocols, background check processes, reporting expectations, and other church-approved compliance measures.
In addition, the candidate must;
1. Must be able to engage with domestic and foreign Dignateries, regarding KFG worldwide initiatives.
2. Be able to represent Kingdom Faith Global within the marketplace.
Essential Duties
- Meet regularly with the Senior Pastor to review ministry priorities, strategic goals, staffing needs, calendar items, and operational concerns.
- Coordinate the execution of church-wide services, events, programs, meetings, and special initiatives as assigned by leadership.
- Develop and monitor ministry calendars, project timelines, leadership assignments, and follow-up systems.
- Supervise or support department leaders, staff, volunteers, administrative teams, and ministry coordinators as designated by the Senior Pastor.
- Assist with preparing agendas, reports, action items, policy drafts, forms, communication plans, and leadership updates.
- Support budgeting processes, purchasing approvals, ministry resource requests, and responsible stewardship of church resources.
- Help evaluate ministry effectiveness through attendance trends, engagement, volunteer health, communication, follow-through, and alignment with the church mission.
- Strengthen hospitality, assimilation, membership care, discipleship pathways, outreach follow-up, and leadership
pipelines.
- Maintain professional confidentiality and exercise wisdom in sensitive leadership, personnel, pastoral care, and financial matters.
- Represent the church with excellence in meetings, community partnerships, leadership gatherings, and approved external communications.
Qualifications
- Spiritual Commitment: A clear confession of faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects Christian character, humility, integrity, spiritual maturity, and devotion to prayer and the Word of God.
- Church Alignment: Full agreement with and support of the vision, doctrine, values, standards, leadership, and ministry culture of Kingdom Faith Global Ministries.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in ministry leadership, church administration, operations, team development, project management, or executive-level organizational support is strongly preferred.
Administrative Capacity: Ability to organize people, systems, calendars, communication, meetings, documents, budgets, and ministry assignments with professionalism and follow-through.
- Pastoral Sensitivity: Ability to lead with compassion, discretion, wisdom, and emotional maturity while caring for people and protecting the unity of the church.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to give direction, receive feedback, resolve tension, and communicate expectations clearly.
- Credentialing: Ministerial licensing, ordination, theological training, or formal leadership training is preferred and may be required as determined by church leadership.
- Compliance Readiness: Willingness to complete background checks, leadership training, safety training, policy review, mandated reporting training where applicable, and any additional church-required steps.

- Use social media and public communication in a manner that reflects the character, doctrine, and values of the church.
- Protect the spiritual, emotional, physical, and organizational health of the ministry through responsible leadership practices.
Evaluation and Accountability
Performance and ministry effectiveness may be reviewed periodically by the Senior Pastor and church leadership. Areas of evaluation may include spiritual faithfulness, operational excellence, communication, leadership development, follow-through, staff and volunteer health, ministry alignment, financial stewardship support, confidentiality, problem-solving, and commitment to the overall vision of Kingdom Faith Global Ministries.
