About the Role
Kingdom Builders is looking for a skilled Journeyman Carpenter / Working Foreman to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong carpentry experience who is comfortable working hands-on, reading plans, leading field work, and helping keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Our projects include ground-up commercial construction, light-commercial work, interior alterations, residential remodels, and other general construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Perform skilled carpentry work with accuracy and efficiency
- Install structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, hardware, framing, trim, and other materials
- Perform concrete-related work, if experienced
- Lead and assist crew members with daily work activities
- Coordinate field work with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and other trades
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate field issues, material needs, and schedule concerns in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Journeyman-level carpentry experience
- Foreman or lead experience preferred
- Concrete/Masonry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to support different types of construction tasks as needed
