What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor/teacher position at Kingdom Arts Academy?
Job Summary
Here at Kingdom Arts Academy we offer music, dance, and theater. We are a faith based organization that offers the arts to many different schools in the community and also offer studio classes. We are looking for qualified, experienced teachers to teach ballet, tap, jazz, choreography, hip hop to children ages 3 and up. Kingdom Arts Academy teaches leadership skills to all ages and is looking for positive role models for our youth.
Qualifications
Must have a dance teaching background
Knows how to maintain classroom control
Great communication skills with parents
Create performance pieces
Has to be a passionate individual for the arts
Passionate about their Faith and is able to incorporate Godly principles in their class
Is able to lead devotionals in class
Enthusiastic personality
Positive role model
Age 18 or older
Clean background check
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Dance: 10 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
