King Universal (KUI) is the behind-the-scenes force that gets product made for some of the biggest names in the world. When LEGOLAND, Buc-ee's, or Cracker Barrel needs product designed, sourced, manufactured, and shipped, we make it happen — across apparel, drinkware, plush, hard goods, and accessories, through a network of factories across Asia. We're the sourcing engine, the logistics operation, and the creative shop, all in one.
We're a team of five doing the work of a company many times our size, and we're scaling fast toward doubling the business. We move quick, we don't do bureaucracy, and everyone here is elite at what they do. This role is the one that keeps that machine humming as we grow.
## The role
Work moves through us in a relay — client to team to factory and back — and as we scale, the handoffs are where things slip. We need one person at the center of all of it who makes sure nothing ever falls through the cracks.
You're the Chief of Staff: my force multiplier and the operating backbone of the company. You own the flow of information and action across our clients, our team, our factories, and me. Every morning you stand up knowing the full picture — what's in production, what's shipping, what's stuck — and you make sure everyone else has that picture too. You don't just keep yourself organized. You make everyone's job easier.
You'll live inside our custom-built ERP (VESSL), and you'll own keeping it current and true — samples, orders, shipments, all tracked, all visible, in real time. You're the person who makes the whole company legible to itself.
I'll be straight about what this is: it's a roll-up-your-sleeves seat, not an advisory one. Heavy operational coordination, real ownership of how the company runs, and direct support to me. The strategy and scope grow as you earn them and as we grow. If you want to build the operating system of a fast-moving company and be at the center of everything, this is the seat.

- **The operating rhythm.** Stand up every day on top of what's moving. Keep the team aligned, commitments visible, and timelines on track. Catch what's slipping before it becomes a problem.
- **Communication, everywhere.** Be the hub across the team, our factories, and our clients. Keep threads moving so work closes instead of bouncing.
## Who you are
- **AI-native and fast.** You use modern tools to move at three times the speed of someone who doesn't. You bounce between contexts without dropping any of them. Speed and precision are both non-negotiable for you.
- **You've been the glue.** You've been the operational center of a small company (under ~50 people) where you built the systems instead of inheriting them.
- **You close loops.** Nothing sits on your desk. It gets handled or routed, every time.
- **You're calm with a full plate** and you turn chaos into order for a living.
- **You communicate clearly and warmly** — internally and with big-name clients.
- **You're local to Raleigh** and here in person with the team.
