Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with project teams and Product Owners to ensure technology introductions are planned and executed with a clear understanding of their impact on Firm personnel.
- Engage with users across all job roles and functions to understand change impact, gather feedback, and surface insights that inform project and change management decisions.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to department leadership, synthesizing user perspectives and feedback into actionable recommendations.
- Assess the change impact of technology initiatives on the Firm and its employees, identifying affected stakeholder groups and potential adoption risks.
- Design and execute comprehensive change management plans that encompass stakeholder engagement, training, and communications strategies tailored to each initiative.
- Handle multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously, exercising sound judgment and maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Comply with project management methodologies and processes and leverage related tools in support of project team objectives.
- Mentor and share best practices with colleagues in support of the department's overall capability development.
- Participate as an embedded member of project teams, contributing to requirements gathering alongside Project Managers and subject matter experts.
- Leverage a common methodology to document user requirements and current business processes to inform technology solution design and delivery.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure that user needs and feedback are clearly represented in product decisions and enhancement prioritization.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with user communities across the Firm to surface issues, communicate project progress, and incorporate feedback into solution design.
- Act as a product advocate for assigned technology solutions, ensuring the user perspective is present at every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Conduct structured change impact assessments for technology initiatives, evaluating scope, scale, and risk to affected employee populations.
- Develop and implement change management plans that address awareness, understanding, adoption, and reinforcement across stakeholder groups.
- Design and facilitate engagement activities including focus groups, surveys, pilot programs, and feedback sessions to support adoption and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure change management activities are integrated into project plans and timelines from initiation through post-launch.
- Monitor and evaluate adoption metrics and satisfaction with technology solutions, reporting findings to the Director of Practice Enablement and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Draft clear, professional email communications and announcements to inform and educate Firm personnel about technology updates, best practices, and available resources.
- Work closely with the Learning & Development team and product champions to design and drive innovative programs — including webinars, tutorials, guides, and other formats — that build effective adoption of the Firm's technology portfolio.
- Contribute to the Firm's technology communications program, including newsletters, security alerts, operational updates, and in-person engagement at practice group and office meetings.
- Support the Technology Influencers program by facilitating engagement opportunities, coordinating pilots and focus groups, and helping to amplify technology messaging across the Firm.
- Ensure that technology communications and learning programs are consistent with and complementary to broader Professional Development and HR learning initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a role combining business analysis, change management, organizational communications, or a related discipline; experience in a legal or professional services environment is strongly preferred and will be weighted heavily in the selection process.
- Demonstrated experience in change management work, including the design and execution of change management plans for technology or business transformation initiatives, is strongly preferred.
- Prosci certification or equivalent change management credential desired; relevant experience in the discipline will be considered in lieu of formal certification.
- Strong written communication skills are essential; writing samples will be required as part of the application process.
- Experience drafting professional communications for broad organizational audiences.
- Familiarity with legal software, productivity tools, document management platforms, or other enterprise technology solutions preferred.
- Must possess strong relationship management and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Must be well organized, attentive to detail, and willing to take ownership of client requests and team success.
- Proactive, flexible, and forward thinking, with a natural curiosity about emerging technologies and their application in a professional services environment.
- Excels at working across teams to support the implementation of new products or the resolution of issues with existing ones.
