Banquet Manager

Madeline's in Fogelsville is seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team for our growing banquet business. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

- Plan, organize, and execute banquets and events, to ensure seamless implementation of events from start to finish

- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide personalized service in menu planning, room layout and special requests

- Manage banquet staff, including scheduling and training

- Work with Banquet Chef to oversee food production and ensure high-quality culinary offerings

- Maintain inventory control of banquet supplies and equipment

- Implement effective shift management strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency

- Handle cash handling procedures accurately and securely

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally

Skills:

- Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food production processes

- Working knowledge of proper alcohol and wine service. Previous bartending experience required

- Experience in managing banquet staff.

- Exceptional hospitality management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

- Proficient in cash handling procedures

- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
