Job Summary: We are seeking a personable and reliable server to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, accurately taking orders, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests.
Core Responsibilities:
- Opening Procedures: Arrive on time to perform essential Side work Sheet, including setting tables, vacuuming, and ensuring the dining area is guest-ready.
- Order Management: Take food and beverage orders accurately, relaying specific dietary needs or allergies to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Menu Expertise: Memorize the menu to offer recommendations
- Service Delivery: Deliver meals and drinks promptly while monitoring tables for refills and additional needs.
- Payment Processing: Use the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Maintain a clean section by pre-bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Closing procedures: Complete all tasks listed on the Side work Sheet, which includes restocking condiments, polishing silverware, Folding napkins, and counting your own tips.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous food service experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and basic math skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for 6 hours and lift up to 25–50 pounds.
- Legal Compliance: Must meet the minimum age for serving alcohol
