Our client is seeking to add an experienced Commercial Auto Litigation Specialist to provide TPA Oversight with a focus on complex litigated Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Bodily Injury claims. This individual will be responsible for overseeing complex litigated and non-litigated losses being handled by a TPA such as commercial auto, trucking, slip-and-falls, premises liability, and bodily injury claims. Responsibilities include full claim investigation, coverage analysis, liability and damages evaluation, reserve management, settlement negotiation, litigation oversight, reinsurance reporting, and guiding claims through resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the TPA's handling of all complex litigated and non-litigated Commercial Auto and General Liability claims.
- Responsible for assigning cases to defense and coverage counsel and managing cases towards best, cost-effective resolution.
- Analyze coverage and communicate coverage positions, as warranted.
- Conduct, coordinate, and direct investigation into loss facts and extent of third-party damages.
- Direct and closely monitor assignments to experts and defense counsel.
- Manage to ensure that both the TPA and Defense counsel are adhering to company's Litigation Guidelines.
- Attend mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials as needed to support claim strategy and drive favorable outcomes.
Requirements:
- 8 - 15 years of Commercial Liability claims experience, with strong expertise in litigated Commercial Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims
- Active Adjusters License is strongly preferred
- Experience managing complex litigated Commercial Liability claims in a TPA oversight capacity is a plus
- Candidate must reside in MA, RI, or CT.
- Strong litigation management skills, including directing defense counsel and formulating litigation strategy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to assess coverage, evaluate case value, set reserves, and issue reservation of rights and coverage letters
- Experience handling complex liability investigations and high-severity losses
Salary/Benefits:
- $120,000 to $150,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
