What are the responsibilities and job description for the California Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner | Remote position at KING'S INSURANCE STAFFING LLC?
Our client is seeking to add a Senior California Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to their California branch. This role will consist of handling California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge in California Law, and SIP is required. This is a Temporary-to-Hire position with the ability to work remotely.
- Handle moderate to complex California Workers Compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
- Manage medical treatment and medical billing when appropriate
- Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
- Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.
Requirements:

2 - 5 years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
- Must be well-versed in California Workers Compensation Law.
- Must have experience handling litigated files.
- Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
- High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
Salary/Benefits:

$40.00/hr to $50.00/hr
